Recently returning with their dreamy single ‘Evidence,’ the four-piece ensemble has announced a special headline show in Dublin’s Workman’s Club for next Thursday, November 9 – tickets on sale now via Singular Artists.
Following the release of their first single of the year, ‘Evidence,’ four-piece pysch-pop group Lo Moon are on the move, with a headline show in Dublin at The Workman’s Club set for next Thursday, November 9.
The release of their latest track confirms more music on the way from the eclectic group in the new year. An infectious piece of psychedelic sonics, ‘Evidence’ traverses the complex territory of first love and growing from one’s past mistakes.
Frontman and vocalist Matt Lowell shares of the track, “It explores the innocence of young love and the journey we’re all on to become better partners, better people, and more emotionally available.”
A joyous, euphoric melody runs throughout the track, full of the haunting and dreamy electronics that have become a Lo Moon staple. Despite coming from vastly different corners of the world, the group first formed in Los Angeles, and soon after released their critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album – a dark, lush array of songs characterised by crescendo rock and dazzling electronics.
Bravely navigating the highest of highs and lowest of lows through their adventurous sound and hard-hitting lyricism, Lo Moon’s debut hit Top 3 on the US AAA radio chart, going on to appear on late night shows Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Late Late Show with James Corden and NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series.
The group have toured through North America and Europe and supported the likes of The War On Drugs, Glass Animals, London Grammar and Chvrches, to name a few. With festival performances including Lollapalooza, SXSW, Governors Ball, and All Points East in London under their belt, Lo Moon is no stranger to the stage – and their live show is one you won’t want to miss.
