It was always going to be difficult to follow the crossover hit ‘Merengue’, but Sam ain’t done a bad job. The casual techno fans won’t like it – neither will anyone like the ambient intro – but ya cannae argue with the ‘Arrival’. It’s vaguely loopy but with a definite sense of purpose – the rising FX and stabs suck you in and keep you there. Ooo-er.
