Following the release of his new single 'Pretty,' Puma Blue announces a Dublin show this September at the Button Factory after the release of his upcoming album Holy Waters
The critically acclaimed indie artist Puma Blue has just announced a show at Dublin's The Button Factory later this year, presented by Singular Artists. While Jacob Allen currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, he'll be making his way to Ireland for a show on September 30th.
His debut LP In Praise of Shadows released in early 2021 after his 2021 A Late Night Special EP and 2018 EP Blood Loss. In Praise of Shadows, heralded for its honest and vulnerable character, reinvented his soft, intimate bedroom sound while broadening his musical genre horizons.
For fans eager to hear more of his music, they'll be happy to know that Puma Blue dropped his latest single 'Pretty' earlier today. It's his first track since the 2022 song 'Hounds' and the first piece off his new, upcoming album Holy Waters, set to drop September 1st via Blue Flowers.

The release of 'Pretty' also comes with a new music video, directed by Angela Ricciardi with a story by Jacob Allen. From being dressed in angel wings to posing for a camera, the contemplative black and white video follows a person through a city while reflecting on the transient perception of feeling pretty derived from the onlooking gaze of a beautiful lover.
Collaborating with his musically talented friends Biig Piig, Lava La Rue, and Lucy Lu, he takes influence from the likes Portishead, D’Angelo, Björk, Radiohead, J Dilla, Burial and John Frusciante.
Earlier this month, Puma Blue teased two announcements online. While one was the release of 'Pretty,' the other was the reveal of Puma Blue's return to his hometown. Known for his beloved live shows, it's not astonishing that his surprise London show at Fox & Firkin then sold out in 15 minutes.
Considering the alternative artist's quick sell-out for his London show, be prepared for this Friday, April 21st. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10AM on Singular Artist's website.
