DIY arts and music festival Quarter Block Party has announced its highly anticipated 2024 edition, taking place in various venues around Cork City on July 20 and 21.
The festival aims to create immersive experience that engage both Leesiders and visitors in an exploration of the arts scene around Cork City.
The festivities will kick off on Saturday July 20 at the Test Site Project in Cork City where Limerick's Post Punk Podge will take the stage.
Starting at 1pm, the Test Site Block Party will feature Laurie Shaw, Rita Lynn, JeanPack and DJ Jack Brolly.
Following the event, there will be an afterparty at Plugd Records with free entry and special guest DJs.

Tickets for the Test Site Quarter Block Party event will be priced from. €20 and are available for purchase here.
Continuing the string of DIY arts events, Sunday July 21 will see two Quarter Block Party events take place across the city.
First up is The Nest at Coughlan's bar, which will host performances by Irish three piece Search Lights, and Crying Loser.
The gig will kick off at 5.30pm and tickets will be priced from €15. Further information regarding the Coughlan's show and tickets can be found here.
Rounding out Quarter Block Party's summer programme, they'll be a closing party at Cork's Crane Lane with Pôt Pôt and Messying.
The final gig will be a free entry event and kick off at 11.30pm.
