One watch of Beyoncé's 'Freedom' performance with Kendrick Lamar and you'll see why.
Lemonade has been cited numerous times as Beyoncé's best work yet and the board behind the BET awards concur with those citings.
The opening number from Beyoncé and rapper Kendrick Lamar was the unbeatable performance of the night. Their collaboration of 'Freedom' had the whole stadium on their feet and proved why Beyoncé took home four gongs at the end of the night. At the top of her game, the 34-year old hitmaker walked away with the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Video of the Year for 'Formation', the Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award and the Centric Award. Ever the professional as soon as her performance ended, Beyoncé hopped back onto a jet plane headed for the UK to continue her Formation World Tour. Her mother Tina Knowles accepted the awards on her behalf.
Another big winner of the night was Canadian rapper, Drake. Awarded Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, Drake was also celebrated for his work with Future as they won the Best Group and his collaboration with Rihanna for 'Work' which was awarded with Best Collaboration.
It was a star-studded event with others winners of the night including Grey's Anatomy star Jesse Williams, Samuel L. Jackson and Nicki Minaj. However, before giving you the full listing and because it would be rude not to, here is Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar's winning performance of 'Freedom'.
