“Josh Homme must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery”, the band announced on social media.
Queens Of The Stone Age have announced the cancellation of all their upcoming July tour dates due to frontman Josh Homme’s illness.
Cancelled dates include festival slots at France’s Jardin Sonore, Slovakia’s Pohoda Festival, Czech Republic’s Colors of Ostrava, Romania’s Electric Castle and Greece’s Athens Rocks, as well as headlining shows in Berlin, Vienna, and Zagreb.

“QOTSA regret to announce that Josh Homme must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery,” the band stated on social media.

“Every effort was made to push through and play for you, but it is no longer an option to continue.”
This follows last week’s announcement that the band would not perform at the AMA festival in Italy “due to illness.”
Queens have been touring Europe in support of their 2023 album, In Times New Roman… . They are also set to launch a U.S. tour in September.
