Before In Times New Roman, the Queens of the Stone Age's latest album, drops, there will also be Midnight Club parties across the world in select record shops and pubs

There's been a lot of things in the works for the Queens of the Stone Age recently.

Not only are they typing up a sold-out UK tour, not only are they making an appearance at Glastonbury on the festival's Other Stage later this month on June 25th, and not only do they have a new album coming out in a few days, but the Queens of the Stone Age have also just announced that embarking on another tour later this year - and it's going to be across Europe.

The tour is in celebration of In Times New Roman, an "invitation from Jooshua Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita and Jon Theodore to come celebrate the end of the world," and it's set for this autumn.

Times New Roman will be released via Matador Records both digitally and physically later this week, on June 16th. Already released are tracks like 'Emotion Sickness,' 'Carnavoyeur,' the latter of which also has a music video out that features a cameo from Joshua Homme.

Titled The End is Nero, the newly announced tour will start at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam before hitting cities like Paris, Frankfurt, Manchester, London, and Glasgow before finishing up at Dublin's own 3Arena on November 22nd.

Throughout, they'll be supported by the likes of The Chats and Deep Tan.

Tickets go on-sale Friday, although the fan pre-sale started today at 10AM.

The tour isn't the only series of events planned for In Times New Roman though. The Queens of the Stone Age also have several Midnight Club parties set up, set to take place in record shops and pubs across 23 countries the night before the release.

Starting at 11PM June 15th, the Midnight Club parties will include giveaways and exclusive merch releases. In some locations this will even include signed merchandise and ticket giveaways.
