The band were recently forced to cancel a string of European and North American tour dates.
Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk has said that the legendary rock band will not play live shows together again.
“I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again,” he wrote in a statement. “I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was.”
The group had to cancel a series of dates of their 2022 reunion tour after frontman Zack de la Rocka severed his left Achilles tendon. No rescheduled shows were announced following the news of his injury.

“If there are Rage shows, if there are not Rage shows, you’ll hear from the band,” he said. “I do not know. When there is news, it will come from a collective statement from the band. There is no news.”
The four-piece was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the tail end of 2023, with Morello being the only member of the group to attend the ceremony.
Rage Against the Machine’s reunion tour dates were initially announced in 2019, before the band was hit with a series of setbacks.
Shows were delayed on several occasions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When the tour eventually began in the Summer of 2022, de la Rocha suffered his injury, leading to the cancellation of 2023’s dates across North America and Europe.
Last year, bassist Tim Comerford also came out to reveal that he had been living with prostate cancer.
