Earlier in 2012, Eibhlín Ní Chonghaile journeyed to Gaza with the Galway Palestine Children's Appeal along with musician Dónal Lunny to bring much needed medical supplies, educational toys, musical instruments, sports equipment and video cameras to the region's youth.

The revealing documentary that resulted, entitled Cuairt Ar Ghaza, details the intricacies of transporting supplies into the disputed, volatile region.

It will be broadcast on New Year's Day at 10am on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. If you don't quite make it up on time on January 1 (which would be understandable), it will then be rebroadcast at 4pm on January 27.
