Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced a new Dublin date and venue change for their 2023 European tour, which will now see them land in the Irish capital on April 3rd at The Academy.
The North Carolina alternative rockers were initially due to play Opium, Dublin on November 20th 2022 but have cancelled the remaining dates on their North American tour. Tickets on sale now.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise recently shared a video for their new single, 'Work Out', directed by Joey Brodnax.
The emotional cut is now accompanied by an equally striking video, a fitting set of visuals for the poignant lyrics about difficult relationships. The track is their first in two years following a COVID-fuelled hiatus from the road and 2021’s LIVE FROM ATHENS, GA.

'Work Out' is a bubbling, effervescent slice of indie-rock. The single was originally accompanied by frontperson Ela Melo’s handwritten lyric video that imbued additional meaning into the track.
Rainbow Kitten Surprise was formed in 2013 by Ela Melo and Darrick Keller, who composed music together at Appalachian State University. Their first EP, Mary, was recorded in a dorm room at the university. They later added three new members, Ethan Goodpaster, Jess Haney, and Charlie Holt.
