The legendary British singer-songwriter has been playing folk music for over five decades.
Ralph McTell has announced a tour throughout Ireland in 2025. The 'Time Drift Of The Road' tour will see the renowned artist play 20 shows over four weeks.
The tour will begin on April 24 in Wexford, and will conclude on May 18 in Sligo. It will include a show at the National Concert Hall on May 1.
Speaking about his upcoming tour, McTell said: “I have been doing shows in Ireland for many years. Firstly in Belfast in 1969 and later in Dublin, eventually getting around the whole country, but it has taken a while to do a national tour.
“In 2025, I shall be undertaking my biggest and most comprehensive set of dates around Ireland ever. My 2023 tour was hugely enjoyable, and 2025 is going to be a real celebration. I’m looking forward to it already."

The musician has long had ties to Ireland, with his song ‘From Clare To Here’ which he wrote in the mid ‘70s. The song speaks about McTell’s experiences with Irish immigrants in London, and reflects his deep connection with the Emerald Isle.
