The tour comes in support of his debut album Loner, out now.
Donegal alt-folk musician Declan McClafferty, a.k.a. Ramper, is set to celebrate the release of his debut album, Loner, with an Irish headline tour in May.
The artist will play four dates across the country starting on Belfast’s Black Box on May 25, the Róisín Dubh, Galway on May 28, Dublin’s Workman’s Cellar on May 29, before wrapping up in Kinnegar Brewery, Letterkenny on May 31.
Following the release of Ramper’s debut Loner on March 7, the record now has been selected as RTÉ Radio 1 Album of the Week.

McClafferty previously played in the award-winning Donegal band In Their Thousands, and has had an extensive career as session musician, before embarking on his own journey as Ramper. In 2024, he showcased at Ireland Music Week and opened for Lisa Hannigan.
He has toured as a part of Ryan McMullan’s band, opening for acts such as Dermot Kennedy and Tom Jones and playing festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude and Electric Picnic.
McClafferty has recorded with the likes of Paul Brady and Tony Tyrell as a session musician and played SXSW in Rosie Carney’s band.
