The early '90s trio Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel face interpersonal conflict after the cancellation of their U.S. tour.
Fugees rapper Pras Michel has released a diss track criticising Lauryn Hill following the cancellation of North American dates of the group's reunion tour due to low ticket sales.
The track entitled 'Bar Mitzfa' was released as a TMZ Hip Hop exclusive on August 13. The rapper's track calls out Hill saying, "Don't blame me; blame her; she made the mess," that caused the tour's cancellation.
“I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story, but oops, cat’s out the bag.”
Hill issued a statement blaming media outlets for "sensationalism and clickbait headlines" which has “seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour.”

Hill received criticism for this statement from her fans on social media, who say the singer has a reputation for tardiness.

In light of the controversy Hill assured fans that she hasn't cancelled European dates, including a Dublin show scheduled for October 7 at 3Arena.
Elsewhere, Pras himself has been the reason for several 2022 cancellations of the band's shows over his ongoing legal battles.
The rapper is accused of receiving $100 million in payments to further Chinese government interests, and to assist Malaysian billionaire Jho Low in gaining political influence in the Trump and Obama administrations.
Neither Wyclef Jean nor Lauryn Hill have made comments on Pras' new track.
