The Def Jam-signed singer and rapper Jeremih is currently on a breathing ventilator, though it’s not clear how long he’s been in hospital.
According to TMZ alongside social media messages from his friends in the music industry, Jeremih has been hospitalized with Covid-19 and is now on a ventilator in the ICU.
Chance the Rapper, Big Sean, longtime producer Mick Schultz, and other artists extended their support for Jeremih online.

50 Cent, who featured on Jeremih’s 'Down on Me' in 2010, also asked fans to pray for the singer on Instagram.
“He’s not doing good, this Covid sh*t is real,” the post reads. “He’s in ICU in Chicago.”
Rapper and producer Hitmaka also shared an emotional message of support, writing:
“I need everyone to pray for my brother Jeremih this message is posted with his mothers blessings.”
On his Instagram Story, he added: “My dawg changed my life, he gone pull through pray for Jeremih” and, “We need that energy pray for my brother he gone shake back.”
