As in the blissed-up Balearic beats synonymous with Ibiza’s legendary all-day beach hangout Café del Mar. And not the pissed-up lager louts whose only contributions to the Ibiza spirit are cheering every time they hear a snare-roll and asking the DJ when he’s going to play Energy 52’s ‘Café Del Mar’. Yet which image represents today’s “real Ibiza”? This year or last, it’s the latter image that most returned home with.

Which is why DJ Magazine editor Chris Coco and A Man Called Adam are educating you to the true Ibizan spirit. They compiled this sensual selection and got current Café Del Mar resident Bruno in to mix what is so perfectly described in the sleevenotes as “a soundtrack for a cinematic sundown.” If only sundowns on Dollymount Strand were as beautiful and tranquil as this.
