Escape from the Mountain of Spit is set for release via Everybody's
Dublin four-piece Really Good Time have debuted their electric new single, 'Mountain of Spit.'
The opening track of their forthcoming debut EP, Escape from the Mountain of Spit, 'Mountain of Spit,' is as weird and quirky as its name may suggest...
The band — vocalist Diolmhain Ingram Roche, bassist Jack Hitchcock, guitarist Alex Conway, and drummer Adrian Garvey — have recently seen sustained success on the live and festival circuit, from supporting Franz Ferdinand at Collins Barracks, to storming the Something Kind of Wonderful Tent at All Together Now.
The new single released earlier today, accompanied by an excellently crafted, noir-inspired music video, directed and edited by Callum Patrick O'Brien.
A thunderously theatrical, high-octane and wordy centrepiece of the band's live set, 'Mountain of Spit,' critiques the blatant misogynism of online self-help gurus. To the Jordan Petersons and Andrew Tates of this world, Really Good Time spit a resoundingly slick condemnation. The gritty track features stellar guitar work and slick vocals; jetting forwards with veritable shades of early Pixies and LCD Soundsystem.
