Other Irish acts on the list include Dolores O'Riordan, The Boomtown Rats, Declan O'Rourke, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, and Van Morrison.
Record Store Day 2025 returns on Saturday, April 12 – and in the run-up to the big day, the full list of limited edition releases has been unveiled.
In addition to special records from the likes of Oasis, Taylor Swift, Charli xcx, and Megan Thee Stallion, the list features an exciting selection of Irish acts.
Among the highlights is a limited edition ultra-clear 12” edition of Shane MacGowan and Sinéad O'Connor's 'Haunted'. Their collaboration was originally released in 1995, as part of a four-track CD and cassette single, featuring three B-sides by Shane, including a cover of Neil Diamond's 'Cracklin' Rosie'. This special 30th anniversary release, which will also be available on streaming platforms, marks the first time the full four-track collection has been released on vinyl or digitally.
Dolores O'Riordan's second and final solo album, 2009's No Baggage, will also be released on vinyl for the first time, for Record Store Day 2025. It will be available on limited edition purple vinyl.
Also set to be heard on vinyl for the first time are The Boomtown Rats' live demo tapes from 1975-79 – including the recordings that eventually found their way to the desks of Nigel Grainge and Chris Hill at Ensign Records. Dawn Of The Rats: B-Sides, Demos and Live 1975-1979 – available on transparent green vinyl – also includes a live performance at Moran's Hotel in Dublin, and a selection of B-sides, many of which have never appeared on CD or LP.

A special alternative edition of Thin Lizzy's iconic Jailbreak album is also set to be released – pulling together alternative versions from the 1976 box set onto one LP, which, where possible, replicates the order of the original album.
Grand Slam's cover of the Thin Lizzy classic 'Whiskey In The Jar' is also getting a Record Store Day release. Originally formed in 1984 by Philip Lynott, the band was revived in 2016, with original member Laurence Archer, and current members Mike Dyer, Rocky Newton and Benjy Reid. Their rendition of the track had only previously been available digitally, to mark what would've been Lynott's 75th birthday.
In other Record Store Day news, Rory Gallagher features on English blues rock guitarist Laurence Jones' special double A-side 12" vinyl release – which includes 'Bad Penny' and 'Follow Me'.
Declan O'Rourke is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album Since Kyabram with a limited edition release – including unreleased tracks and alternative versions.
Van Morrison is also getting involved in Record Store Day, with the 10" vinyl release of Be Just and Fear Not. It features three tracks from his Live at Orangefield shows, which he felt would work best as a separate release.
