The Derry artist has shared her latest single, ahead of its official release on October 4.
'Older Now' is a deeply infectious blues-folk track, with the singer mining the past and the present for lyrics, arriving with a deeply personal, emotive track about the nature of perspective.
‘Older Now’ is the first track taken from A Different Light EP, which is due for release on April 24, 2020.
On the new track, Reevah says: “Often my songs are written from real life perspective, I like to write about situations that others can relate to. Letting the audience into my personal world.
"For me ‘Older Now’ marks a change in many ways. I have started working with a full band and I really wanted that sound to be conveyed in this track. It’s a true reflection of my live set-up and performance as an artist. Recording this track was amazing, having the band onboard brought so much energy to the process, everything just came together really naturally.
Reevah's acclaimed debut EP Hummingbird was self-released in June 2018 and aired on RTE Radio One and BBC Introducing amongst numerous others. She has supported acts such as SOAK, Lisa Hannigan, Wyvern Lingo, and Duke Special and has played at various events such as Other Voices, The Ruby Sessions, Output Festival, BBC Fringe Festival and Stendhal Festival.

In 2018 Reevah completed a collaborative project with The Ulster Orchestra based on the Civil Rights Movement of ‘68’, she released two tracks ‘River Flow, River Divide’ and ‘Heart over Head’. Throughout the summer of 2018 she toured with the orchestra debuting the collaboration, featuring at various showcases and festivals such as main stage at Stendhal Festival, St Columbs Hall, Derry and The Duncairn Arts Centre, Belfast. Her most recent release, '26', was her most successful to date - and the collaborative remix of that track, with Belfast musician Arvo Party, was one of our favourite tracks of the year.
