‘Child’ is their first single, written by singer Bry and dedicated to drummer Josh’s daughter.
For her first birthday, Dorothy, daughter of Josh, the drummer for the emerging indie folk band Reillys, released their debut single ‘Child’ in her honour.
Reillys was motivated by their growing popularity from Instagram reels about the most beautiful spots in Northern Ireland, now they have started to release their music. The band is fronted by singer Bry who was a success on Irish Radio in 2016 and supported Twenty One Pilots on their European tour.
Bry had been performing at weddings full time for three years before he enlisted his friends Josh and Emma, who played the drums and violin hailing from Belfast, to start creating original music together. The three built a loyal fan base on Instagram and TikTok before finally releasing their first single.

The band filmed videos in places like Giants Causeway and Dark Hedges, many of which went viral and gained millions of views. The band also plans to play many gigs in 2024 while continuing to release music.
Reillys is used to playing at large venues and the troubles that can occur. When the band performed at Electric Picnic, the group got stuck in the car park until 3 a.m., but they still see this experience as a sign of great things to come.
Their single ‘Child’ is about becoming a first time father and is sentimental, with an optimistic perspective of parenthood. The song was self-produced and recorded in Belfast.
