Tickets already purchased for Revival 2021 will still be valid for next year's festival.
Organisers of Revival, a music festival scheduled to take place in Listowel next month, have issued a statement, announcing the cancellation of this year's festival, "in the wake of government restrictions and limits on numbers at outdoor events." However, they have also revealed that "all acts scheduled originally for this year's festival will perform at next year's Revival" – taking place on August 12 & 13, 2022.
The Friday night of next year's Revival will feature performances from The Waterboys, The Stunning, and Cry Before Dawn, while Gavin James, Hudson Taylor and Stephanie Rainey will all perform on the Saturday.
In the statement, the Revival Festival Committee issue a "heartfelt thank you" to "sponsors, to the countless public bodies, to the people from the local community too numerous to mention, and to those of you who have turned out in rain and shine to support the event since it began in 2016."
"We never imagined when we first sat down to talk about the possibility of a Revival festival how successful and important it would become to the town of Listowel," they continue. "This would not have been possible without all of you. So stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you all again next year at Revival 2022."
