Franz who??? Craig Nicholls and his similarly sassy cohorts have come up trumps yet again with a two-and-a-half minute blinder. ‘Ride’ is succinct, pointed and a little bit unhinged, laden with throbbing guitars and vocals. If the hype surrounding the band has left you a little jaded, prepare to become a believer, as the Vines are set to inherit the earth. Undoubtedly an indie classic in the making – with the band set for this year’s Oxegen festival, hearing this song live will most likely be your feelgood moment of the summer.
