Although aged just 19, Griff's lyrics, paired with her soulful vocals, have marked her as a unique force in modern pop.
Rising British artist Griff (Sarah Faith Griffiths) marks her first release of the year with catchy new single 'Black Hole'.
The release was coupled with a lyric video, featuring grainy footage of the singer captured within a pin-hole camera shot.
Griff described the track as “a bittersweet heartbreak track” in a press release.
“I actually love how melodramatic it is, as there’s obviously not ‘a big black hole where my heart used to be'”, Griff added.
“But the melodrama of the lyrics – over a really interesting beat – keeps the song fun, and not too serious.”
‘Black Hole’ follows a string of singles from Griff last year, including ‘1,000,000 X Better’, ‘Say It Again’, ‘Forgive Myself’ and more.

Her tracks explore everything from negative body image on 'Mirror Talk', to her relationship with the children her family have fostered on 'Good Stuff'.
Griff was schooled in soul and gospel music by her Jamaican father and Chinese mother, before falling in love with Taylor Swift's Fearless album when she was eight-years-old.
The bedroom pop star also recently took home fifth place in the BBC's Sound of 2021 poll.
