Northern Irish singer-songwriter Jack Devlin shares the music video for his recently released sophomore single, ‘Dialogue.’ Featuring Harry of Hudson Taylor, the acoustic video adds an intimate depth to the powerful piano ballad.
A hidden gem of Northern Ireland, Jack Devlin has gone from competitive mountain biking and busking for money to making a name for himself on the Irish music front since the release of his debut 2022 single, ‘Lies.’
Sharing his most recent single ‘Dialogue’ on September 22, the artist returns with a new, acoustic music video featuring Harry of Hudson Taylor.
With the track’s sultry piano-led acoustics, the intimate music video adds a raw, stripped-back depth to the initially powerful pop ballad. The collaboration sees Devlin’s distinct, raspy voice joined by Harry Hudson-Taylor’s instrumental performance chops and dazzling vocals. The bare, acoustic melodies highlight the track’s underlying blue-eyed soul sound.
‘Dialogue’ serves as the follow-up to Devlin’s 2022 debut ‘Lies,’ a single which landed him a spotlight with our Hot Press Track of the Day. Before entering his musical journey, Devlin was a competitive mountain biker, earning the Ulster Elite Enduro Champion title in 2018. But following a flight mishap in British Columbia, the singer-songwriter took to busking between rides to earn cash for the trip home.
Since then, Devlin has become an unstoppable feature in Northern Ireland, playing gigs at various venues and busking on the streets of Ireland, plus venturing out on a caravan busking tour across the country to work with artists in Sligo, Galway, Westport, Dublin and Galway. He has over 100 songs recorded in various states of readiness, anticipated to be revealed in the coming months.

Of making music, Devlin declares, “The song is always the foundation of where I judge my success.”
