Jordan Run is one of the most exciting new artists to have emerged in yonks. Catch the hotly-tipped Cork performer live, on Sunday night, on the Hot Press Y&E Series – supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
Jordan Run is set to play the Y&E Series tonight, Sunday May 2. Based in Cork, Jordan is an independent, multi-genre artist who blends styles from rock and blues into contemporary hip hop and soul. His powerful, anthemic songs have been winning hearts and minds far beyond the Rebel County.
Since 2019, Jordan Run has released no less than ten singles and two EPs. His track 'Deep' from the Lockdown Tapes EP has already topped 100,000 plays on Spotify and much of Jordan Run's music has featured on editorial playlists such as Easy (alongside Tom Misch, Ryan O’Shaughnessy and James Vincent McMorrow); Breath of Fresh Éire (also featuring RuthAnne, Inhaler and Somebody's Child); and Hands in the Éire (with Daithí, Chasing Abbey & 1000 Beasts, among others).
A student at Cork’s CIT, where he studies music and production, Jordan writes and produces his own music. A fine guitar player, he has featured at the Ruby Sessions in Dublin, as well as packing-out his debut show at Coughlan's in Cork. Jordan has done support slots with Ariel Posen, Cory Wong (Vulfpeck) and James Arthur, as well as making appearances at a number of major festivals, including Electric Picnic, All Together Now, and Indiependence.
Watch out for his debut album, which is scheduled for release in May.
