Hotly tipped talent Wendy Godfrey continues to establish herself as a thrilling new force on the Irish scene with her new single 'How Far'.

Produced by bassist, songwriter and producer Solow The Astronaut, the track packs plenty of smooth, summertime energy, and homegrown pop/R&B influences.

“When writing this song, I had both outward and inner inspirations. I thought about relationships where the guy wasn’t connecting with his girl because she had her walls up," Wendy reflects. "I then started to think about how I was that type of girl and the kind of guy I would be willing to break those walls down for. This was my first time writing a Pop song. I’m used to writing R&B and Afro-Beats. But this was a great challenge for me to step out of my comfort zone and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.”

The stunning cover art is the work of Oyinza – who has previously worked with the likes of Soulé, Jafaris, Zali, Aimee, Super Silly, Erica Cody, UNQ, UD, Mango x MathMan and more.

Watching out for the upcoming visuals for the single – which Wendy describes as "fun, flirty and groovy, taking you back in time through the decades."
