Hurry down doomsday ‘cos the cartoons are taking over. You either love or loathe the Albarn/ Hewitt created side project to beat all side projects by now, and suffice to say ‘Rock the House’ won’t do anything to change your mind.

To some this a breathtaking re-invention of hip-hop in a multimedia led pop context, to others this is an ill-advised foray into self-consciously ‘urban’ music.
