The 'Mary May' singer is set to perform in Dublin's 3Arena on November 18th before heading up to Belfast.
Rod Stewart surprised drinkers at a pub in Dublin on this afternoon by popping by Gravediggers in Glasnevin for a pint.
Stewart also stopped by a Glasgow pub on Sunday after seeing his team Celtic draw with Rangers hours earlier, along with Scottish singer-songwriter John McLaughlin.
Gravediggers pub in Dublin posted a photo of the 77-year-old star on social media, with Stewart pictured talking to customers while leaning on the bar.
"What a legend so delighted that Mr Rod Stewart stopped in..yes folks music legend. And today on the date that Grace Glifford & Joseph Plunkett where married in 1916 and the same date he was executed...'Oh Grace, just hold me in your arms and let this moment linger'," Gravediggers wrote in an Instagram post.
On May 4 1916, Joseph Mary Plunkett, one of the signatories of the Proclamation of Independence, married Grace Gifford in Kilmainham Gaol just hours before his execution.
The heartbreaking and short-lived nature of the marriage inspired Frank and Seán Meara to pen "Grace" in 1985, which immortalised the wedding.

Stewart released his own version of the infamous ballad 'Grace' back in 2018 for his album Blood Red Roses.
The music legend bought an apartment in Ballsbridge last year that is worth an estimated €6.5 million. He is set to perform in Dublin's 3Arena on November 18 and will then head up to Belfast for a show at the SSE Arena on December 20.
