More than a decade has passed since the musician's last gig in Cork.
Best known for hits like 'I Don‘t Want to Talk About It‘, 'Sailing‘ or 'Have You Ever Seen the Rain‘ British rock and pop singer Rod Stewart counts as a musical legend. For fans, it is therefore all the more pleasing to hear that Stewart has announced a gig for Cork this year. On 20th June, he'll be playing Live At The Marquee – visiting Cork for the first time in the past 14 years.
Stewart's last 15 tours all around the globe have been as much a success as the last performances in Dublin and Belfast being fully sold-out. With the gig at Cork later this year, Stewart promises his fans a night filled with lot of fun and lot of hit songs.

In the past Stewart earned quite a number of awards including two introductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Besides that he also recieved the ASCAP Founders Award for song-writing, became New York Times best-selling author and won the Grammy Living Legend.
Tickets go on general sale on February 9th at 9am.
