The American rapper’s follow-up to his hugely successful debut will arrive on December 17th.
Superstar rapper Roddy Ricch has announced his sophomore album Live Life Fast will arrive on December 17th.
The record will drop via Atlantic and features the rapper’s latest single ‘Late At Night.' Live Life Fast is currently available for pre-save and physical copies can be pre-ordered here.
The 23-year old’s forthcoming LP is the follow up to 2019’ Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial which earned Ricch three Grammy nominations. It also spawned his break-out hit ‘The Box.’
Roddy Ricch — whose real name is Rodrick Wayne Moore Jr. — wiped his Instagram before sharing the cover art for his new album. “livelifefast 12/17 spread the word,” he captioned the photo.

The cover art appears to be a reference to the late Nipsey Hussle — a friend and collaborator of Ricch’s who was shot and killed in March 2019. Hussle and Roddy Ricch won a Grammy together in 2020 for Best Rap Performance with their song ‘Racks In The Middle’ along with Hit-Boy.
Ricch shared a photo on Twitter featuring the cover art for Nipsey’s last album Victory Lap which is almost a mirror image of the photo set to to feature on Live Life Fast. “The Marathon Continues I LOVE YOU BRO @NipseyHussle,” he tweeted along with the picture.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow up to Ricch’s chart-topping debut but the Compton rapper took his time to craft the album. “For us to drop the album we gotta have a NO skip policy,” he wrote on his Instagram story in October.
Ricch is chasing greatness on his sophomore record as rap fans have high expectations for the upcoming LP:

“Coming off one of the biggest albums I could’ve done, I feel like taking them back to the basics with me,” he told Complex in March. “There’s all the old fans I had when I first started rapping and these new fans that I got since the big album and Grammys and everything.”
“So, I want to bridge the gap between my old fans and my new fans. That’s what I’m on a mission to do with this next situation that I’m working on.”
Ricch has kept himself busy when he hasn’t been working on album number two. He recently featured on Bino Rideaux’s single ‘LEMME FIND OUT.’ The rapper also has a second Grammy in his sights for Best Rap album as he featured on ‘Pure Souls’ from Kanye West’s Donda.
