The nominations for the 2020 Grammys are here!
Mexican acoustic guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela are nominated for a Grammy! The duo, who started their career in Dublin, have received their first-ever nomination for their album Mettavolution in the category 'Best Contemporary Instrumental Album'.
Rodrigo y Gabriela are up against Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Theo Croker, Mark Guiliana and Lettuce.
The guitar duo took to Social Media to share their excitement, writing, "Thanks to the academy for the nomination and thanks to all our fans, it is an honor."

Another act who have received their first-ever Grammy nomination this year are The Cranberries. Their final record In The End is nominated for 'Best Rock Album'.
