Derry instrumentalist ROE brings "Grumpy Electro-Pop" sound to Whelan's.
ROE will play Upstairs at Whelan's on Wednesday 3 April. Tickets go on sale this Friday 15 February at 10am from Ticketmaster, from €12.80.
This Derry girl is an instrumentalist with her unique brand of self-styled “Grumpy Electro-Pop”, as she puts it. ROE kicked off 2019 being featured on BBC Radio 1's “Introducing Tips for 2019” by Huw Stephens, included in RTE2FMs “Rising” list, and supporting Snow Patrol on their arena tour around the UK.
She has been blazing a trail for young female indie artists across Ireland and the UK. Taking her music to the states, ROE will perform at the world famous SXSW festival in March in Austin, Texas before playing her first ever Irish headline shows in April.
