Keep an eye out for ROE's performance on Rave On, Van Morrison.
21-year-old Roisin Donald (ROE) has been releasing snippets of her debut EP for the past several months, each single piling on to the growing mountain of anticipation for Things We Don't Talk About. Finally, the five-track EP has arrived.
The Derry-native's sharp, radio-ready indie pop is at its best on this more substantial offering, as she fuses polished production with her unique vocal. “This EP means a lot to me because it’s a picture of how I’ve grown in the past couple of years as an artist and a person," ROE explains. "It's a reminder of how I’m still finding myself.”
To celebrate the EP release, ROE will be performing a very special online show from the iconic Guildhall venue in Derry, live streaming a full set with a full production of lights, live drummer, sound and an HD multi-camera setup. Tickets for this livestream are £10, with a £2/€2 per ticket split donation between Aware NI and Aware Ireland, two prominent and important mental health charities providing support groups and a support line for those suffering from mental health issues across the island of Ireland. You can purchase tickets here.
