'FADER' is the third single off Róisín Murphy's upcoming album, Hit Parade, set to release on September 8.
Irish singer-songwriter Róisín Murphy’s music video for new song ‘FADER’ premieres on YouTube on Tuesday June 20 at 5PM. The video was directed by Róisín Murphy herself, and filmed in Arklow last month.
Murphy teased the premiere of the new music video via her instagram account, sharing a sneak peek of what fans could expect with a behind the scenes video.

The video stars The Arklow Silver Band, as well as an array of young singers, dancers and performers from the singer’s hometown, Arklow. Expect a lot of bright colours and boundless energy in a music video sure to get viewers off their seats.

New single ‘FADER’ releases tomorrow alongside the new music video, creatively directed by Róisín Murphy. She describes the new single as “a song about life & death and everything in between”.
Róisín Murphy was previously part of pop duo Moloko in the 1990s with English musician Mark Brydon before the group dissolved. Murphy has since embarked on a solo career, releasing five studio albums.
Róisín Murphy’s sixth studio album, Hit Parade, is scheduled for release on September 8 later this year. New song ‘FADER’ will feature on the album, as well as already released singles ‘CooCool’ and ‘The Universe’. The album was produced by DJ Koze.
Róisín Murphy is set to play in Dublin's Trinity College on Sunday July 2, with tickets sold out. it is one of 18 shows Murphy is set to play across a busy summer for the 49-year-old.
