The single, titled 'You Knew', was released in tandem with two remixes from DJs Eli Escobar and Payfone.
Irish artist Róisín Murphy has put out her newest single 'You Knew', produced by frequent collaborator DJ Koze.
The dance-driven electronic single is also accompanied by two remixes from DJs Eli Escobar and Payfone.
"You Knew is the story of my life," the Irish artist wrote in an Instagram post, "many times, I have bravely loved and not been loved in return, and I am proud of that. That phrase "You Knew" just sums it all up."

The single is the latest in a series of singles from the artist, ahead of her newest album Hit Parade, due to release this September. Her songs 'CooCool', 'Fader', and 'The Universe' will join 'You Knew' on the highly anticipated record. The record will follow Murphy's acclaimed 2022 album, Roísín Machine.

Murphy first found success as half of Moloko in the 90s, which released hits like 'Sing It Back' and 'The Time Is Now'. The 50-year-old has since had a remarkably successful solo career and has forged a name for herself in the last almost 20 years.
