Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have tweeted messages of support after Mick Jagger was forced to postpone The Rolling Stones' North American tour.
Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have taken to Twitter to share supportive messages about their bandmate Mick Jagger. The Rolling Stones frontman was forced to postpone their upcoming tour of the US and Canada due to undisclosed medical reasons.
In a statement shared on the band's website, it was announced that Jagger was "advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible." The statement went on to extend Jagger's personal apologies.
Since the news of the tour postponement broke over the weekend, Ronnie Wood has shared a message of support for Jagger on Twitter:
