Ron Sexsmith is one of Canada's greatest singer-songwriters. The 56 year old troubadour has collaborated with the likes of Feist, Emmylou Harris, and K.D. Lang, and is today releasing 'You Don't Wanna Hear It', from his forthcoming album HERMITAGE.
HERMITAGE will be Sexsmith's first album since his move from his long-time home of Toronto to Stratford, Ontario, and will mark his 25th year as a recording artist. The album will chronicle Sexsmith's path to domestic bliss. "We have this sort of idyllic kind of existence – we have bunnies in the yard and are surrounded by trees on all sides, so we get tons of birds. Every morning I hear these Cardinals and we had a duck in the yard; I'd never really noticed birds in Toronto," Sexsmith says.
