The former Boyzone star will also release a new album ‘TWENTY TWENTY’, featuring his biggest no. 1 hits reimagined.
Exactly 20 years after the release of his debut solo no.1 album, Ronan Keating has announced a summer tour that will include a Show in Dublin’s Vicar St on Saturday June 6. Tickets go on sale Friday February 21 at 10am.
The new album ‘Twenty Twenty’, will be released on May 1. Ronan describes his new record as “a greatest hits of brand new music”. To help him celebrate, Keating decided to dive into his back catalogue as well as call in the help of some friends for his new tracks, the names of which are to be revealed in due course.
The first single, ‘One Of A Kind’, is a duet with Emili Sandé and was released today. “I guess I’ve been known for those first dance songs at weddings, and this has me written all over it,” he says. Steve Lipson produced the new album, who worked with Annie Lennox, The Rolling Stones, Simple Minds, Whitney Houston and Paul McCartney.
The four-times Platinum-selling singer and songwriter has also reworked some of his classic pop songs, such as ‘Life is a Rollercoaster’, ‘Lovin’ Each Day’ and his debut solo single ‘When You Say Nothing At All’ - all of which will surely bring back some memories of the 2000s.
Over the past year Ronan has been tirelessly working on an album that celebrates a successful solo career spanning two decades. “There’s not a lot of artists that have been lucky enough to do 20 years and still be here. There are even fewer who have matched a successful band career with a successful solo career.

I’m very honoured," he adds, "to have had that, so I wanted to mark it with an album like this.”
