Grammy-award-winning musicians Rosanne Cash and John Leventhal are set to play a benefit concert to launch Musician Treatment Foundation In Ireland
Rosanne Cash & John Leventhal have announced a Gala Concert set to take place at the National Concert Hall on Thursday, June 13, 2024. The concert supports the launch of the Musician Treatment Foundation in Ireland.
The concert promises a night of music featuring three Grammy-award-winning musicians: Rosanne Cash, John Leventhal, and Aoife O’Donovan. Together, they will raise funds for the Musician Treatment Foundation (MTF) in Ireland, dedicated to providing orthopaedic care for musicians needing treatment for shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries.
Founded as a nonprofit in the US in July 2017 by orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Alton Barron, MTF offers free upper limb orthopaedic care to professional musicians through its Physicians for Musicians network. With a board of directors including Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, MTF has provided over $2.7 million worth of care to hundreds of injured musicians.
