The Dublin pop-R&B trio are heading for the biggest European music showcase of the year
RTÉ 2fm has nominated Dublin trio Hare Squead to represent Ireland at Europe’s largest music industry event, Eurosonic Festival, in Groningen, The Netherlands, which takes place 11th – 14th January 2017.
Hare Squead have burst onto the music scene with an infectious and dominating pop sound, along with an explosive live show, and they’re ready to unleash it on an international audience at Eurosonic; the festival renowned as the biggest hunting ground in Europe for festival bookers, agents, promoters and radio stations across the continent.
Musicians from a young age, Hare Squead members E-Knock, Tony Konstone, and Jessy came together through a love of skating, song-writing, flexing, and bonhomie. Having just signed to Columbia Records UK, Hare Squead are definitely ones to watch.
As one of the founder radio partners of Eurosonic, 2fm has picked a top Irish act to represent Ireland since the festival began. Hare Squead will join the ranks of previously-selected 2fm acts such as The Academic, The Riptide Movement, The Strypes, Little Green Cars, The Frames, James Vincent McMorrow, The Coronas, Cathy Davey, God Is an Astronaut, Heathers, Julie Feeney and JJ72.
