RTÉ have announced Choice Music Prize: Conversations 2025, an event featuring panel discussions with artists and music-industry professionals.
The event, hosted by Jim Carroll, will take place at BIMM Dublin on March 6, and will last from noon to 4:45pm.
The first panel will feature a keynote interview with Caroline Elleray, who is regarded as a leading A&R figure in UK music history, having signed Coldplay, Keane, Mumford & Sons, and the XX, among others. It will be followed by 'Breaking Through in 2025,' a panel where Interscope Records/Power Consulting's Emmet Power will discuss his career.
In the Artist Panel, Kieran McGuinness, Stephen Darcy, and Elaine Mai will talk about the issues and obstacles they have faced throughout their careers in the music industry. A Radio Panel featuring Beta Da Silva, Deb Grant, and Charlie Ashcroft will examine the role of traditional radio in the streaming era.
Lastly, a panel on Music and Mental Health, moderated by Ann Marie Shields, will delve into the transformative power of music and its benefits for mental health.

Conversations will precede the RTÉ Choice Music Prize live event, set to be held at Dublin's Vicar St. on the same day, March 6, at 7:30 pm.
The ceremony will feature the presentation of the 2024 Irish Album of the Year award, as well as Irish Artist of the Year, Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year, and Irish Song of the Year. As was announced recently, the Classic Irish Album Prize will be given to Enya's 1988 LP, Watermark.
