The search for Ireland's 2025 Eurovision Song Contest has begun, with RTÉ announcing that Ireland will be entering the contest in May.
Taking place in Basel, Switzerland, the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the county of the previous year's competition winner Nemo, who won with their track 'The Code'.
Ireland's 2024 contest entry was Bambie Thug, who received the best result for any Irish performance at Eurovision since 2000, with their track 'Doomsday Blue', which has since amassed 9.5 million views on YouTube channel.

"Representing your country and performing at Eurovision is an experience unlike any other and can open doors beyond your imagination," said RTÉ Eurovision Head of Delegation Michael Kealy. "If you think you have what it takes to be our Irish representative in Basel next year we’d love to hear from you!"
