Comedian Russell Brand has cancelled the remaining dates on his 'ReBirth' tour, as a result of injuries his mother sustained in a car accident last week.
Ticketmaster released a statement reading, "We have just been advised that Russell Brand due to take place at The Olympia Theatre on the 23rd and 24th of May and The Waterfront on the 26th May 2018 are now cancelled."
Russell's statement reads, "Due to Russell’s mother remaining in a critical condition following a road accident last week, his promoters regrettably announce the indefinite postponement of his remaining Re:Birth tour dates. Ticketholders will be automatically refunded via their point of purchase."
Ticketmaster advised that refunds will be processed as quickly as possible, writing, "(for tickets) booked online or over the phone: we’re sending the funds back to the credit card you used to purchase the tickets on automatically."
"It can take some time to process, so please give us up to 7 days to process your refund before you start to worry."
"Bought the tickets in one of our Ticketmaster outlets: you will need to pop by one more time and our staff will assist you with your refund. "

Russell's mother, Barbara Brand, 71, has survived cancer six times, and only finished her latest rounds of chemotherapy a month ago.
Thanks for your kind messages.
