Following last night's stunning performances from Ryan O'Shaughnessy and Shane Ó Fearghail, we're delighted to present another double-header for the Hot Press Lockdown Sessions, brought to you by the sea-faring legends from Grace O'Malley Whiskey.

Tonight, March 31, we're kicking off proceedings on the Hot Press Instagram with the first performance in our 'Spotlight on Westport' series, featuring Rebecca McRedmond playing live from the Mayo town at 7:00pm, before handing over to RuthAnne in London at 7:30pm.

Since launching her solo career last year, Westport singer-songwriter Rebecca McRedmond has built up an impressive reputation – writing deeply heartfelt songs about love and loss, and performing with the likes of Mark Geary, Kevin May, Emma Langford and John Blek.

"Music has been a huge part of my life growing up, but it wasn't until my late 20s I started to write," she reveals. "I guess it was a door I had never opened and now that I have I feel so much more complete.

Rebecca recently joined Mundy on his Irish and UK tour, and plans to release her highly anticipated debut album this year.

Taking the stage after Rebecca, is acclaimed singer-songwriter RuthAnne, performing live from London. After building up a successful career as an award-winning songwriter, penning tracks for the likes of Niall Horan and Britney Spears, RuthAnne stepped into the spotlight last year with the release of her highly anticipated debut album, Matters of the Heart. The album featured major hits 'The Vow' and 'Love Again', and production by Fraser T Smith (Adele, Tom Grennan, Stormzy), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean, ZAYN), Future Cut (Little Mix, Shakira), Noah Breakfast (Ty Dolla $ign, Christine And The Queens) and Sonny J Mason (Kimbra).

With support slots for Alanis Morrissette, Niall Horan, Thirdstory, X Ambassadors and Hozier under her belt, as well as some major festival appearances, you can expect a dazzling performance from RuthAnne.
