There are worse ways to spend a sunny Friday evening at Electric Picnic, than with his captivating husky tones echoing Sting and Bryan Adams, and his distinctive backing of shrill electric guitars, relentless drums and cymbals.
'Stand Up Tall' was a triumph with Sheridan just having a ball with his guitar. Borrowing from a myriad of influences such as rock, country and the attitude of ghetto, this song played like Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' on speed. As well as slaying with his voice in popular songs like 'Stay' and 'I'm Alive', the born entertainer filled the main arena and drove the crowd into a dancing frenzy.
