The pop group formerly known as S Club 7 will be embarking on a reunion tour later this year, with five of the original members returning.
The British pop group S Club, formerly known as S Club 7, have released their first single in 20 years ahead of their reunion tour later this year.
As described by the band, the new single 'These Are The Days' is a tribute to their late bandmate Paul Cattermole, who died suddenly in April at 46 due to a heart condition. Accompanied by a nostalgic music video that highlights moments from the band's long career, the single was announced on Instagram along with a caption explaining the significance of what the track means to the members.
"We hope you love the track as much as we do," read the caption. "This was a true labour of love and the experience of creating it together was so special. This one’s for you, Paul."

In May, the group announced they would still be embarking on their anticipated reunion tour after Cattermole's death. However, band member Hannah Spearritt would not be accompanying them on the tour, they told fans in an emotional video. Spearritt, who was romantically involved with Cattermole at the height of the band's career, paid tribute to Cattermole herself, calling him her "first love".

The band is also renaming the tour the 'Good Times Tour' in honour of Cattermole. Cattermole had sung lead vocals on the group's song of the same name, a song he was planning to perform on the tour.
The 'Good Times Tour' will start in October in Manchester, UK. S Club will visit Dublin's 3Arena on October 16th. You can find out more about tickets here.
