Where I Should End is out now.
Following the release of their acclaimed second album, Where I Should End, Saint Sister are set to play two special live-streamed gigs tonight, July 8 – going live at 8pm and midnight, and available to view on the Hot Press Facebook page!
For the livestreams, the duo will perform the album in its entirety – fully live. They will also be joined by the full force of the musicians who played on the record, as well as Crash Ensemble and Lisa Hannigan.
The concerts will be performed live from The Complex in Dublin, in collaboration with Tiny Ark.
Although the stream is free to view, Saint Sister are asking for donations to raise money to help them tour in 2022. You can donate here.
Where I Should End – which debuted at No. 7 on the Official Irish Albums Chart – was recorded at The Meadow Studio, Co. Wicklow with Rian Trench and mixed in Berlin with Benedikt MacIsaac. Layering synths and drum machines with harp, strings and piano, the record opens new sonic avenues for Saint Sister, while showcasing their most honest song-writing to date.
The album follows their stunning 2018 debut Shape of Silence, which received critical acclaim and nominations for both Album of The Year at the 2018 Choice Music Prize and the Northern Irish Music Prize.
