Check out Sam Smith's sneak peek of brand new single 'Love Me More', out on Thursday, April 28th.
London singer-songwriter Sam Smith has announced upcoming new single 'Love Me More'. The long awaited track is set to drop next Thursday, April 28.
Smith shared the news on social media yesterday (April 20) alongside the official black-and-white artwork for the upcoming track. Three days before the official announcement, Smith posted a 30-second excerpt of the song with caption "Soon x". Their instantly recognisable vocal style shines over downtempo piano. This is clearly a track to be added to the 'Diamonds' singer's growing collection of heart-wrenching ballads.
The pop sensation's most recent release was Christmas single 'The Lighthouse Keeper', which came out in 2020 and featured production from Labrinth (of Euphoria fame, but he's been around for years). This track followed shortly after third studio album 'Love Goes', a heartbreak-fuelled breakup album.
Last November saw Sam Smith contribute to an all-star charity cover of Fleetwood Mac’s classic single ‘Everywhere’ alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, Yungblud and Lewis Capaldi. Proceeds from the single went to the BBC’s Children In Need.
A full length follow up to Love Goes is yet to be announced. Pre-save/pre-add 'Love Me More' here.
