Sarah McQuaid announces Irish tour
The talented folk singer is going nationwide in April.
Her critically-acclaimed 2012 album, The Plum Tree And The Rose, gets a live airing next month when she visits Moran’s, Clonmel (18); An Creagán
Creggan, Omagh (19); The Playhouse, Derry (20); Monroe’s, Galway (21); Mick Murphy’s, Ballymore Eustace (22); Seamus Ennis Cultural Centre, Fingal (26); Walton’s New School of Music, Dublin (27 @ 1pm) and Conary Community Arts, Avoca (27 @ 8pm).
Spanish-born, Chicago-raised, England-domiciled and proudly half-Irish, McQuaid serves up a suitably exotic musical stew and in a previous life penned many a fine Hot Press article.
