The occasion is taking place to commemorate what would have been Lynott's 75th birthday
A special tribute screening of Phil Lynott documentary Songs for While I’m Away is taking place in Herbert Park, Dublin on August 30 at 6:30pm.
Directed by Emer Reynolds, the film celebrates the life and music of the iconic Thin Lizzy frontman, who would have turned 75 this year.
Before the screening, there will pre-show conversation with broadcaster Donal Dineen, Reynolds and other special guests, who’ll be sharing their insights into the documentary and Lynott's legacy.
Alcohol-free food and refreshments will be available on the night, with organisers adding that those attending are welcome to bring chairs, mats or cushions.
