Post-funk rockers Scustin have today announced a headline show at The Grand Social for 12th December 2024.
The Bray rock outfit have made a name for themselves in recent years with their distinct brand of post-funk sensibilities, helmed through a merging of wry lyricism with a groovy, loose-jointed take on indie rock.
Scustin define themselves as "more than just a band", blurring the lines between audience and artist: "When you step into a Scustin concert, you don’t just watch the band—you become part of it."
With dazzling performances across Ireland, the UK and the Netherlands, as well as standout festival slots at Electric Picnic, Latitude and Other Voices, the rock outfit have rightfully earned a reputation for high-energy, interactive live shows. Their performances are an electrifying medley: "imagine a Guinness stained, musical orgy featuring Blindboy, Mike Skinner and Jamiroquai at The Harbour Bar in Bray".

Through their beloved pastime of 'Pub Talkin'', Scustin invite listeners to join them at the table, pint in hand, for a night of storytelling, shenanigans and craic that might echo the vibe of your local pub. With such fan favourites as 'The Ick', 'I'm Never Flying With Ryanair Again' and 'Drinking Cans in a Field With Matt Damon', Scustin are best heard in the sweatiest, most energetic live venue possible.
Tickets for their gig at The Grand Social go on sale this Friday, 6 September, via Singular Artists.
